about me
I am a graphic designer and illustrator located in Phoenix, Arizona.
I am Southwest raised and Northwest brewed. I graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in journalism, and I am a graphic designer for Greystar Real Estate. Previously, I worked at Alliance Residential, giving me three years of experience in the Multifamily Housing industry. Prior to this, I was the designer at Heard Museum where I created essentially anything on the walls that isn’t the art itself. I designed and branded exhibits, publications and marketing materials. I am the former Design Chief of The Bend Bulletin. In the newsroom, I acted as a manager, page designer, copy editor, data visualizer and illustrator. I freelance for various organizations such as STEM Sports, Crown Reporting Project, Missoula Curling Club and competitors in the children's television industry.
I approach all clientele with enthusiasm, care, efficiency and most importantly: strategy. I specialize in vector illustrations but also love to bring traditional media into projects such as original watercolor art or hand-drawn type. I was formerly the typography blogger for TheFoxIsBlack.com so I have a wide breadth of knowledge of typography and an eye for proper use.
