Me-01Hello! I’m Carli Krueger.

I am a graphic designer and illustrator located in Tempe, Arizona. I am Southwest raised and Northwest brewed, and I gather a lot of my inspiration from geographical features around me. I graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in journalism, and I am a graphic designer for Alliance Residental. Prior to this, I was the designer at Heard Museum where I designed essentially anything on the walls that isn’t the art itself. I created and branded exhibits, publications and marketing materials. I am the former Design Chief of The Bend Bulletin . In the newsroom, I acted as a manager, page designer, copy editor, graphic maker and illustrator. I freelance on the side for various organization in need of branding such as Crown Reporting Project, Missoula Curling Club and various California-based romance novelists. I donate work to the Humane Society of Central Oregon where I also volunteer. I’m an avid hiker, camper, reader, eater, baker, ’80s-movie lover and awkward dancer. I also love all the animals.

I am also the marketing director for Hear Space.

I approach all clientele with enthusiasm, care and efficiency. I specialize in vector illustrations but also love to bring traditional media into projects such as original watercolor art or hand-drawn type. I was formerly the typography blogger for TheFoxIsBlack.com so I have a wide breadth of knowledge of typography and an eye for proper use.
